The
death of Jesus was no accident, but rather a predetermined
plan, to demonstrate God's love and longing for you (Acts
2:23). The resurrection of Jesus is proof of
God's power to save you from sin and its consequence, death
(Acts
2:24). Jesus is now both Lord
and Christ (Acts
2:36)!
If
you believe this (Acts
18:8), then repent (decide now to
live as a disciple of Jesus) (Acts
2:38), confess Jesus as Lord of your life
(Rom.
10:9), and be baptized for the forgiveness
of sin (Acts
2:38), you will be added by God (Acts
2:47) to the church of Christ (Rom.
16:16)
Until
your death, remain faithful (Rev.
2:10) by subjecting yourself to God’s righteousness
(Rom.
10:3), including assembling regularly with a church
of Christ whose members love the Lord, the lost, and one another.
(Acts
2:41-47)
Will
you put your trust in Him?” Heb.
2:13
